Application EDA dans le Audit Data Analytics (ADA)
Les nouvelles méthodes Analytique viennent bouleverser l’organisation des entreprises et le métier de l’audit n’est pas épargnée par ces changements. Ainsi, Data Analytics permettent d’analyser d’importantes quantités de données lors d’un audit des états financiers à l’aide de logiciels souvent open source, comme R ou Python.
L’Audit Data Analytics ou Analyse des Données en Audit (ADA) se définit comme « la science et l’art de découvrir et d’analyser des modèles, d’identifier les anomalies et d’extraire d’autres informations utiles dans les données sous-jacentes ou liées à l’objet d’un audit par l’analyse, la modélisation et la visualisation de la planification ou de l’exécution de l’audit ».
Les ADA sont pertinentes dans toutes les phases de l’audit. La technique du DA peut s’appliquer, en fonction du jugement professionnel de l’auditeur, à chaque étape de l’audit, à savoir aussi bien lors :
• De la planification de l’audit ;
• Des tests de procédures ;
• Des contrôles de substance ;
• De l’évaluation des résultats.
Exploration des Données Analysées (EDA) va permettre à l’auditeur analyser de façon exhaustive les transactions, il lui est possible d’obtenir des indicateurs sur le risque d’anomalies significatives.
EDA ou L’Exploration des Données Analysées est une technique assimilée au DA qui consiste en une approche d’analyse d’un ensemble de données afin de résumer les principales caractéristiques, à l’aide d’une méthode visuelle et des résumés statistiques. De cette manière, l’auditeur peut se faire une première idée générale des informations contenues dans les données, dans le but d’obtenir les renseignements préliminaires liés à ces données.
L’EDA permet à l’auditeur de :
• Mieux comprendre l’entité auditée ;
• Identifier les risques d’anomalies éventuelles ;
• Influencer l’audit afin de se concentrer davantage sur les zones à risque.
